Hi my name is Natalie, i am a licensed hair dresser and it really depends on if u have long or short hair. if u have short hair u probably already have layers, and u just dont know or havent noticed. if ur hair is shoulder length or longer it would be in your best interest to keep your hair all one length. you could even try to put some highlights or a perm in your hair to add dimension. there are also some professional shampoos and things to help gain thickness for your hair. if there is anything else i can help u with email me or add me to your messenger...id is balsamobaby83 email is balsamobaby83@yahoo.com

It depends on the way u want the layers. there r short layers that go all the way from the top of ure head to all the way down and the ones i have but they aren't the short ones. My sis got layers but only the fronts and it works for her.

I dont think so...... I thinklayers so thick hair is thinner.....
