I have wavy, dark brown hair with bangs down to my chin. It becomes frizzy if I leave it down for about 10 minutes or so unless it's greasy. I usually put it in a low ponytail but it's getting old and I don't look so great in it. I have a million flyaways too. I tried pulling my bangs back but I just looked silly with my flyaways. And I already tried braids, high ponytails, and pigtails. My hair is just plain annoying.

You should be able to go to a beauty salon and let them show you some hair styles for your type of hair. You didn't say that you had tried and products that eliminate frizzes. They are alot out there on the market right now that work great. But it sounds like to me you need a style that will work for you. Many people don't realize that the type of hair you have determines what style you should wear. Unless you want to spend hours styling your hair everyday. A good hair stylist should be able to help you have hair you love and don't have to be a slave to.

OK, i have the exact same problem, its not an easy solution. a lot of times i just pull it back with a headband...But when i want to wear it down (don't laugh) i use sportin waves...i get it where they sell African American hair products, i don't use a lot....wash your hair, towel dry it until it is almost completely dry, then rub the product in your hands, apply as would would mousse...you can also use any pomade product...good luck and stay away for the blow dryer....

Try Dove Therapy shampoo/conditioner.It really helps frizziness!
Or use Vo5 "Make it Straight!"...it doesn't really make it straight, it just smooths your hair. Just work it in when your hair is still damp from a shower.
Or, for the easiest approach, put gel in it and scrunch it.
Good luck =)

Start to straighten your hair... purchase a flat iron and use a cream in your hair not mousee or gel..... that will help with the frizz and give your look a whole new dimension.
