no set is time good for anyone.you should wash your hair when its oily or smelly.
the dryer or more damaged the less often.
daily only in the case of very oily hair.or using a lot of styling product which makes it look dirty faster.

if you keep it less than 2 " long with constant trims it wont matter the extra washing and brushing damage. otherwise it will. cause its all dead.

fro dry hair brush oils through each night .
for oily hair just brush oils through before washing. as little as possible after.

for long hair get a great cut and brush as little as possible also to avoid breakage and other damage. some new products make things shine and more and do damage and create build up.. beware notice changes if you change or add products.

if you are oily be careful to use a gentle shampoo warm water but not hot
and very light for extra body type conditioners.

My hair tends to be oily, as well, but I only wash it every second day. You could try not using conditioner every day, as well. I found that helps.

Also, if I don't have anywhere to go on a particular day, I just let my hair get as oily as it wants. It's great for the hair, as it gets coated in natural oils that are important for hair health.

No it is not good to wash your hair everyday. You should wash it everyother day, with a shampoo for oily hair like head and shoulders or pantene. Dont use alot of conditioner and take it easy on the products you use in your hair. Avoid product with silicone or that is too greasy. Use creme products instead.

Not really. Some people need to wash their hair often because it gets very oily, but sometimes your hair will dry out if you wash it too much.

It is not really necessary but aesthetically good if you wash your hair everyday. This is especially true if you live in tropical countries like I do where you sweat everyday. Also, if you are using a lot of sprays or other chemicals for hairstyle. It would not hurt if you wash your hair everyday as long as you choos the right hair products for your hair and apply them in the right amount. As always, rinse thoroughly.

I wash my hair everyday because my hair is really oily. I also straighten mine, and from me touching it so much it probably makes it even more greasy. I think that it's up to you. No one can force you, and I bet your hair looks perfect without being washed everyday. Mine on the other hand, gets really greasy on the top, but that's it. I guess my scalp is oily. =D

in teh olden days, people did not necessarily wash their hair and about the 1980s there was a bried revival of 'natural' washing

your hair will last longer, grow faster and be healthier as a lady if you dont wash it with all these modern shampoos n stuff. the condition of female baldness at an early age is also increasing bcos of current trends like repetitive dying, bleaching, highlights, colour changes

in the olden days they used to wash their hair with water every day, and they went back to applying 'pure' soil first (thats specially refined finely ground top soil in fine granules so its like a powder and not from just anywhere, its been sieved thru and impurities removed)

i suspect the soil dries and leaves a caked layer that prevents spots and bacteria infections, you then wash your hair with water to get rid of any odour or smell

this is done evryday and you then wash your hair with soap and water only once a month and then return back, your hair supposed to grow faster and be healthier
