Im only 24 and have noticed that since I've highlighted my hair (by cap) on a regular basis for the last 3 years..that my hair has thinned greatly on the top of my head...Is it possible that's what the problem is at all?

I had extensions put in and now I want them out. I would like to be able to take them out myself if at all possible. I know I should probably go to a salon to take them out but don't really have the cash to do so at this time. They are the type that are glued in. They are not the tracks the you glue in they are individual strands. I believe the name of the product is Great Lengths. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Ok this may sound weird but i would like to find a shampoo that is particularly bad to use on coloured hair, making it fade quite quickly. The reason for this is that my semi-permenant brown dye which i put over my natural mousey colour is fading out and going a funny gingery colour and i want to get rid of it as soon as possible. So is there any shampoos that you would not reccomend to use if you have coloured hair or any other ways of making they dye go faster?

Just wondering. How do you find a good hair salon to get a good cut without actually trying lots of different ones and maybe running into a bad one first.

Thanks

Tatum

My hair is short, thick, coarse and wavy. I use organic shampoo, conditioner and styling products. I take vitamin e and eat very healthy. But is there a supplement that helps the hair to grow faster and healthier? What can I use to make the hair feel softer?

My mom told me to warm some olive oil in a bag under a stream of hot water, massage it in my hair, and wrap in a towel for softer hair.

How much oil should I use (my hair is thick, natural African-American hair past my shoulder blades) and how long should I keep it wrapped. Also, after this I shampoo my hair...would it be overkill to use a commercial conditioner after the shampoo? rinse-out conditioner of course.

thanks!

I straightened my hair yesterday, this morning my roots are oily, I dont want to wash my hair because I would have to straighten it all over agin and my hair is SUPER curly & It takes hours. Are there any tricks I can do to freshen it up?

I once tried oatmeal, baby powder etc, and it left it filled with particles and had to wash it.

How can I remove excess oil without washing and without putting dry shampoo????

With the weather changing from warmer to colder and the heating being on, this time of year always brings flaky scalp for me. i've tried t-gel, head and shoulders, deep conditioners, the lot but have no idea what to try next. I wash my hair about every 2 days. Any ideas?
