Biolage Conditioning Balm by Matrix is the best, you can probably get a really good deal on it on ebay. With what ever conditioner you do buy, put it on first thing when you get in the shower and leave it on till your done and rinse it off with cool water. Hot water will open the pores on your hair strand and cold water will seal the conditioner in.

I also had the same problem, and was recommended by my mum that i used 'Aussie 3 Minute Miracle- Reconstruction'. At 1st i didnt want to use it coz i was worried it would make my hair look greasy, but on the half term i didnt have many plans so thought i'd try it cuz i was disapointed that i had so many split ends and my hair was looking dry due to straightenin. I was totally wrong because it doesnt make my hair look greasy atall. I now use it everytime i wash my hair and i have already noticed a big difference already. My hair is softer, alot less dry, and doesnt look as greasy as much as it used 2 do (so my hair won't look greasy if i don't wash it every night). I now owe this all to my mum, and if you use it u will owe it all 2 me lol

most conditioners are ok, after shampooing your hair apply conditioner whist this is on rap a towel around your head, this traps the heat and opens the cuticles ( mircoscopic scales found on your hair) which allows the conditioner to penertrate deeper into you hair shaft, leave the towel on for about 10 minutes then rinse as normal, hope this helps

Superdrug do a fantastic one, very similar to the Boots one another poster recommended. It's about £2.99 for a huge tub and will last you ages.
Also when you are straightening, make sure you use a good heat protector. I recommend Lee Stafford or Toni & Guy.

Funny you should ask!! I've got curly hair that gets dry and frizzy and I need to use an intensive conditioner regularly. At the moment I'm using L'OREAL ELVIVE ANTI-BREAKAGE REPAIRING MASQUE. It's in a 200ml yellow pot. It leaves your hair so silky and smells lovely you'll love it! And it doesn't break the bank! I think I paid about £4.50.

Kerastese - it's expensive but soooo worth it. I have really dry hair and this is the best thing I've used. I hope you're also using a hair protector spray when you're straightening - it should help.

I use K-Pak by Joico. Works well! It doesn't smell very good, but once your hair is dry and styled, it smells better. All Soft by Redken is good too.
