I use ic Hair Polisher Mist. It's not oil. It's made with with polymers and it has sunscreen to protect your hair. It also lays down frizzies and fly aways. It is kinda pricey though. A 6 oz. bottle cost me $11 but it lasts a long time because you only need a little.

Straighten it and use a; Steam, ceramic plated, iron as they do the least damage.
If you want it left curly, that is harder... shine is caused by light reflecting off the surface of the hair and picking up the color and the oil... curly hair doesn't tend to be oily hair and dry doesn't reflect light very well neither does the curl... it is too convoluted.
You can use a John Fredia shine product from Walmart, or go to Ouidad.com if you want something expensive but the best on the market... The cheaper products contain loads of wax and laminates that actually work as counterproductive to the whole curl thing as they are heavy, hard to wash out and make for problems with over use over time.

I use Infusium 23 leave in conditioner and Elasta QP Recovery Oil Moisturizer and comb it through. I top it off with Elasta QP Feels Like Silk liquid styling gel and finger comb it. It helps to calm it down. Let your hair air dry because blow dryers, curling irons and hot combs can damage your hair. Don't mess with your hair too much after it dries because it tends to get frizzy. You can also spray some oil sheen on top for an extra shine.
Also, don't wash your hair every day because it can be damaging to black hair even more than heat elements. It'll dry your hair out and your ends will split badly. Just wet it down between washing with the leave in conditioner. You still may need to add a little of the moisturizer and gel to get it the way you want it.
Hope that helps.

Well-groomed hair enhances your appearance. Everyone wants beautiful and shiny hair. Different types of hair need different types of treatments. Here we offer some tips to give your hair shiny appearance.
Fine Hair: Use a shampoo with wheat proteins and polymers. These ingredients cover the hair shaft, making it appear thick. Use spray volumizers. They coat your hair with a thin mist of droplets without causing your hair to droop.
Normal Hair: Use a shampoo containing silk amino acids. These acids make the hair soft and repair the damaged hair structure. Lecithin is vital for restoring hair texture. Gels and creams make hair shine. Put a small amount of the product on your palm, rub the hands together and pat lightly on the hair

For shiny hair in about 3 days, wash your hair with dog shampoo in the evenings (not the foul-smelling stuff, ask for the expensive sweet smelling shampoo) and then with regular 2-in-1 shampoo in the morning. Do this for 3 days and your hair will be shiny and soft.

You need to eat fish more often, or drink a supplement called a fish oil. that will help a lot to make your skin nicer and your hair shinier... but the bad thing is it makes your nails grow a little faster too...

you could take nutrition E supplements for wholesome pores and skin, hair and nails and use what you could from a hair care line called professional organic’s which has shampoos, conditioner, hair mask, hair oils and stuff this is sulfate, alcohol unfastened so it is so mushy on your hair and makes it somewhat mushy and sleek.
