It's perfectly normal to lose 50-80 hairs each day. Some people lose more than 100. So if this is the case....don't worry you're NORMAL! Yeah, that's great right? Now if you have curly hair you will notice it coming out in handfuls in the shower. This is only an illusion because with silky straight hair these 50-80 hairs slide out through out the day and we don't notice them going. When one's hair is curly it makes like Velcro and although it's releasing from the head it's caught in the curls so it goes unnoticed until it's brushed or shampooed. If by chance, you are losing an excessive amount of hair (Several hundred each day) it may be a Thyroid problem or stress. Talk to your mom or dad and let them know your concerns. If it is excessive and does not improve, visit your pediatrician.

First of all, do you dye/bleach your hair and is this something that just started happening? If so, is there anything that you have been doing differently to your hair since you noticed this. Keep in mind also that normal hair shedding is between 50-100 strands per day.

Ask your mom to take you to the wellness care professional. it must be greater than a number of issues one in all this is a thyroid subject. have you ever been drained recently? Gaining weight? Neck harm? yet another situation it must be have been you on the pill for some reason (era issues perhaps)? Then getting off the pill will make your hair fall out quickly from the changing hormones nevertheless yet another situation could be greater than a number of stress. which will make your hair shed. and probably it relatively is basically a organic laying off cycle. A hair stylist as quickly as advised me that we bypass by using laying off cycles each and every six years. So, that must be it too. do no longer difficulty. it will improve back. In a pair of month, you will see a number of those little short hairs protruding.

I wouldn't worry to much unless it's coming out in clump's or kind of like hand fulls - you might just be going through a puberty state and believe me when you go through puberty - all kinds of weird things go on in and out of your body - if it keeps up (coming out) I would say maybe have your mom or dad take you to the doctor - you might have a problem that's undetected - and better be safe than sorry. I really feel for you because at 13 it's a major age and kids are very self conscious so I hope that it stops falling out for your sake. Make sure that you tell your mom or dad about your hair problem though, ok? Bye bye

sometimes hormones causes hair loss. there are several reasons, your age made me think of hormone, but stress poor diet can also cause hair loss. the best remedy is eat balanced meals and if that a problem take a good one a day vitamin, that may help. if not you may want to speak to your doctor there are a few health issues that can contribute also. good luck, try the vitamins such as centrum it is well rounded and not expensive

Go to the doctor and get tested for deficiencies. Low iron, thyroid can cause thinning hair. Hormone imbalance, stress. Find the cause and it can be treated.

hmm...could it be as when you comb, you didn't comb out all the fallen strands at once? Especially since we drop hair throughout the day and not at specific times, and our hair;s too thick for a mere comb to comb all through throughly?;)

it could be falling out if you have long hair...
my hair started falling out when i had long hair. i started panicking, but i found a solution- cutting my hair short! and since then, my hair stopped falling out too much.
oh yeah, when i had long hair, it didnt fall out in bunches- it fell out in strands, same as your case. so if you have long hair, get a haircut! it's your hair-gripping muscles that are weak.
