My hair is 3-4" long all over I am going to a fancy dress party dressed as a cleaner lady, My mum has 1" & 3/4 " rollers are they too big to put in my hair

Sure, the 3/4" rollers should fit in just fine. Better than just setting them, why don't you leave the rollers in, and tie a kerchief over them. A LOT of real cleaning women do their cleaning this way, including your own mum a time or two if she's honest.
Make sure the rollers are fastened well, as you don't want to be losing your mum's curlers! Putting product (mousse or gel) in your hair before rolling will help the curlers stay put.

They will work fine. Go with the 1" roller:) Wet your hair and do a test! Depending on the type of roller you have secure them bobby pins or hair clips.

Some men seem nice with curly hair. I knew one that permed his hair for a nice "afro". And he wasn't homosexual. Your son feels like a metro sexual sort of man. That's uncommon. He's no longer petrified of the "sensual" facet of himself - the facet that feels - everthying. It's a sensitivity factor - to how matters seem, think, scent, & sound. It's uncommon! So, positioned a few perm rods in his hair (with out the perm lotion,) see the way it appears and take a look at any other appears. Good for you, mother. A man with truly style. Have a laugh!

She is correct. You can not roll with rollers that are bigger than your hair. Get the velcor kind so they do not fall out.
