You can straighten hair temporary with a blow-dryer and large paddle brush, but once it gets any moisture in it it will start curling up again Today's chemical straighteners are very safe just go to your favorite beauty salon and have it done. This type of process needs to be done professionally

Get out of the shower, and brush through your hair while you blow dry it. Or, you can wet your brush and run it through your hair like 10 times. If that doesn't work, keep brushing!
P.S: You can buy shampoos that guarantee to straighten your hair like Bed Head (I think you can find it at grocery stores, walmart, CVS, salons, or target.

There is no way to make it straight quick.
But when you blow-dry it with a round brush, it gives you amazing volume.

after you get out of the shower,
brush it out and then blow dry it.
it comes out very straight.
for the time limit-- well it depends on the thickness of your hair but for me, it takes about 10 minutes.

there are chemical straighteners at drug stores. and those huge rollers at beauty suppy stores. hairdryers and a good brush are supposed to be good although they never work for me. and a salon can straighten your hair although they're expensive.
