I recently read that if you put olive oil in your hair overnight and then wash it off in the morning it will get rid of dandruff. It said to put 4 tbs on your hair. I did and this morning attempted to wash the oil out. I shampooed several times with different shampoos but my hair is still greasy. Any idea how I can ungrease my hair ?

Try using dishwashing soap like palmolive or sunlight to get the grease out. That will work. If you want to get rid of dandruff why didnt you just use head and shoulders, it works the best but it does take time to work it wont just work the first time. Also you could try selsun blue i heard it works womders too on dandruff..
Good Luck

uhhh...no...olive oil will make you 1) get lots of acne and 2) get even more greasy hair if you dont wash it out SUPER well. you can just use this special shampoo, its for shampoo residue and grease...also, head and shoulders is good.

Dawn Dishsoap works great. Just shampoo with your regular shampoo after you get all the grease out.

well it may be that you are using too much conditioner. some people say if you wash it every other day it will help but i won't go there. i'm not exactly sure though. Maybe you could ask a hair specialist.
