If you hair has been damaged inside the hair shaft, then the only was to fix it is to keep it trimmed until the damage hair has been cut off. You can buy many products that coat the hair and make it appear smoother and less damaged but there is no way to cure it. Products that you put on the hair and apply some heat (wrapping hair with plastic wrap and using a blow dryer) do allow the product to enter the hair cuticle and help the appearance more.So those are the best products to use. If you remember that there are layers on every strand of hair that are stripped daily by brushing, environment and chemicals. Conditioners coat the hair and protect it to some degree. But once the layers are gone they are gone.

There are many ways on how to fix up your damaged hair. It can be very simple and its not very hard. Here are some ways:

1. At the store they have Coconut Oil for your hair. It is very inexspensive and it works REALLY good. It makes your hair soft and smooth, and it makes it look beautiful.

2. If your hair is really damaged i would try Hair Cholesterol. It works overnight. And it is also found in stores.

3. You could also try an "At home oil treetment". It is where you take canola oil or olive oil and drench your in it. But not so much that is dripping. Leave it in for about 4hours or as long as possible. This is a really good way, and it works.

I hope one of these ways work for you. If you need anymore info, feel free to give me an e-mail.

Aveda...Aveda I promise this stuff works like a charm. I found a wonderful hair stylist and she turned my terrible dull frizzy hair into beautiful and shiny. I also use a Chi straightener after I have used the Aveda light elements smoothing fluid and it keeps the moisture in my hair. I wish I knew how to put before and after pictures on here and I would show you. It is so much more healthy now but if I don't use the smoothing fluid it is still frizzy but much more healthy looking than before. You have to try this, or look for a stylist who uses this product and uses a high quality straightener and you will be transformed. I know it has worked for me. You can look under Aveda.com or call 800-328-0849 is the toll free #.

You cannot cure damaged hair. The only way to do this is to cut off the damaged parts and let it grow out. And in future, cut down on hair treatments. They can be rather harsh on the hair.

Do a warm olive oil wrap for a couple of hours, then lightly shampoo, and that should help.
