just a mounth ago i started not to care about what my mom thinks about the whole black thing. and she is always telling me how dark my makeup is and how thik my eyeliner, and complains about the black i wear. I'm a natural blonde. I want to die my hair black but yet again my mom. I thought about it alot and I want to do it. I took a pic. of me and it looked like i had black hair and i looked really good. how can i tell my mom that i want to die my hair black with out her flipping out? should I wait i little while to die my hair? what if it starts a fight. please i need help.

i am a red head and people told me i should die my hair blond, i like that idea but my hair is more brown then red so maby the change would be less derastic if i did that instead, a picture of me is at this url

My boyfriend likes my hair down, and the only way to really do that on a regular basis is to cut it short. But its grown out a lot and I'm just starting to get used to it long. I'd like to make him happy b/c I don't really wear makeup or ever get all dolled up. But its been several years since I had hair this length.

I am contemplating putting henna on my hair to acheive a dark auburn color but i am afraid that I wont be able to get rid of it once I do it. Also, can you put highlights in it after you achieve the color you want? My hair is currently a medium brown. I want to have my hair look like Amy Nuttall- type in that name in images and look at pg4 3rd row over and pics 4 and 5 from the top.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this color? Please help!

I am a guy with medium length curly hair. No matter what I do, it always looks afro-ish. This not only looks bad but is annoying to deal with. I want to keep the length of my hair so i dont want to cut it. Any suggestions to keep it under control? Oh yeah and just putting in gel doesnt work.

I'm white, daddy is black and we have 2 beautiful boys. My 3 year old boy has "good hair" but it's so curly and mine is baby fine and straight so I have no experience with curls. His hair is not really course but is very curly. I put his pic on my avatar if that helps at all.
Questions are:
- how often should I wash it?
- currently have it hand cut with scissors, should I?
- I currently use a little leave in conditioner/detangler and comb with fairly fine toothed comb. is there something else I should do?
