Any white ppl with dreadlocks?

Do you get harassed or do ppl assume things about you because you have dreads?

Dreadlocks do form if you wash your hair.

My white friend had braids put in her hair to make dreads. She has really dark, auburn highlighted hair. They looked good on her, she had a big personality to go with em-she put them up in different styles. I dont think anyone made fun of her. Its kinda funny, she was the only white girl in the African History class in high school and the only white chick in school w/braids. But she was a hippy style of a gal, rope sandals, flowy skirts, hand made jewelry, hemp head. anyway, I think she had respect-I didnt go to school w/her, she graduated in 1992

LOL. I am black but once I was riding on a Greyhound Bus and sat next to a white guy with dreadlocks. He stunk and the worst thing was I had to sit with him for three days til we got to our destination.

my friend has dreadlocks and hes white. people don't say anything unless they're joking w/ him, in which case he just makes a few more friends. he doesnt have em to be cool or anything tho, he doesnt have a home (he sleeps on w/e couch he can get) so he cant really worry about washing his hair or keeping it shaved, so people kinda respect him more...lol...hes a odd one
