Blow dry them together and then just put a bit of hair spray. Had the same problem and trust me it really works.

You need a consultation with a stylist. I am a stylist and I need to know these questions before I can totally answer your question.
Is your hair oily and stringy because of a product you are using, or because your forhead is oily? If it is because of a product you are using on your hair....don't use that on your bangs. Try mousse and hairspray on the bangs and your straightening and shine products on the rest of your hair. If your forhead is oily, make sure to powder your forhead in the morning after styling your hair. Dab your forhead whenever you use the restroom during the day. Look into rice paper for absorbing excess oil.
Where is your hair separating? Is it seperating in chunks or is it separating at a natural part?
If it is separating into little chunks I would ask your stylist to add a few more bangs to the ones you already have. If it is parting at a natural part, blow dry it in the opposite direction and then swoop it back the way you want it to go.
Good luck. There may be other factors a stylist that can see your hair and skin maybe able to help you with!

first you should shampoo and lightly condition each day mousse or gel use a blow dryer to help put in place then a light hairspray to hold in place try not to keep on putting it in place during the day with your fingers use a comb or brush because the oils from your skin will make it oily and stringy

Sounds like you have a cowlick. Try clipping them to the side of your face with a bobby pin or jeweled barrette. You can also try working a thick pomade (used sparingly) into your bangs to get them to stay together. John Freida's Spun Gold is a good one.

Spritz them with a little hair spray when they are the way you want them. If you have oily hair, wash your hair every day. Don't use conditioner as that may contain oil.

I used to have that situation. it incredibly is going to take a little time on your hair to conform with its new techniques, so merely flat iron the area thats splitting and purely hairspray the roots. If desire be take a small comb and tease the two factors at the same time.
