You (usually) go to a salon get really thick conditioner put on your hair and sit under a dryer for a while. You can go to Wal-mart and got conditioning packets. Wet a towell and put it in the dryer and get it warm (don't dry it just warm it and leave it damp). Put the conditioner on your hair and wrap the warm towel around your head and let the conditioner sit for however long the packet says. Rinse and your hair is conditioned. No cons, pros's you have shiny healthy hair. Any conditioner can be done like that can be deep conditioner.

Deep conditioning means that you use a deep conditioner once a week. I use Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner. You leave it on for atleast 3 min. (which is longer than you'd leave regular conditioner in your hair). Pro- It makes your hair softer and silkier than when you just condition regularly. Also, it's supposed to "repair" your hair. Cons- The only con would be if you have really fine hair, and if you don't have that much. It'll make your hair kind of limp. But, for someone like me who have coarse, thick, wavy hair, it's great!

deep condition means to use a lot of conditioner and let it in your hair for like three minutes and then rinse and dry but don't blow dry or else it may burn the hair.
