I shampoo and condition my hair with Herbal Essences (for damaged hair) daily, but I have colored my hair since I was 16 and have done major damage. Can anyone give me advice on how to bring my hair back to healthy??

i put a dark brown colour on my hair a few days ago and hate it. ive washed it and it still hasnt gone lighter. its almost black.

is it ok to put another colour over the top? like a lighter brown.

will it work?

I use Clairol Hydrience Black pearl hair dye. Ive had an unopened box in my cabinet for possibly a year or less. Im wondering if anyone knew if it was still okay to use? Remember, nothing is opened!! im hoping i dont go bald

I saw this in the drugstore and was intrigued. Maybe it's for camping - but there are definitely days when I would love to throw a little powder in my hair, soak up the oil and save myself a few minutes in the shower. Has anyone tried it? Does it dry out the hair? Any brand recommendations? Thanks!
