Frizz ease is excellent but expensive. I use Luster's Pink Light Oil moisturizer hair lotion. It's in the African American hair product's section and true to it's name...it's in a pink bottle. It'll work wonders!

If you want to keep it curly:

I would try Friz-Ease shampoo and conditioners.
Instead of the normal conditioner, use the deep conditioning mask.
Their great (i've used them).
Also, try the hair serum. It calms down the frizz and makes the curls more manageable.

If you want to make it straight:

Use Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner.
Blowdry until dry.
Then a hair mist or spray that protects hair from heat.
Next, use a straightener. I suggest buying a Chi or a more expensive brand, because it will straighten hair much faster and will last longer.

Hope this helps!

leave a little conditioner on your hair when you get out of the shower, and keep a wide toothed comb in the shower for use while you are in the water. then when you get out, put mouse on your hair and don't comb it anymore than you need to. never brush while wet! and don't touch your hair until it is COMPLETELY dry, i know that is hard to do but it makes all the difference. gel is too heavy for many curly haired girls, but you will need some sort of product or you will get frizz. ignore those who tell you to straighten your hair!!!!!!!!! good luck

Check out jessicurl.com

Do not use shampoo everyday I've found it was causing at least 80% of my frizz, also don't towel dry or even use a normal towel (I use a microfiber towel or a plain cotton t shirt to blot my hair) also do not comb or brush your hair. The Jessicurl site has a lot of info and videos on styling curly hair.

clever got here out with those issues that is meant to be for warmth styling your hair and that i offered it considering that I had tried to apply a curling iron to mushy out my curly hair ( sounds stupid yet once you have curly hair you already know ). besides - that is in an orange spray bottle and it leaves my hair frizz unfastened no count if I blow dry or air dry. that is notably wonderful! ok I purely googled it and that's the "sleek" line from clever and that is meant to be as sturdy as Matrix. i haven't tried the shampoo and conditioner yet i'm going to quickly.

try using garneir fructis soft curl its like a gel but its different because it holds your hair down and mosturizes it instead of drying it out and for the puffy ness try using john frieda frizz ease because it doesnt make your hair frizzy or puffy the whole day because its a daily creme

use a silicone based hair product, such as frizz ease-- it keeps the frizz down and makes it less puffy, without weighing your hair down. When I had curly hair i used it every day and loved it
