I am a hairdresser and thought i'd help you out, First of all, stop using Herbal Essences and start using professional products that you can buy at a salon. Since your hair is dead, nothing can make it healthy again, but using products to protect it and make it soft will help prevent damage. I recommend Alterna's Caviar, it's a little bit pricy, but you do get what you pay for and you'll notice a huge difference in your hair. :-)

I just got over the same issue. I went and got dead ends removed first off, and the stylist said that doing a hot oil treatment would help. So, i bought V05 hot oil treatments (pack of 3) and i did a treatment 1 day, and then another 2 days later. My hair felt really kinda greasy for a day, but now, my hair feels so light, and healthy. And its extremely soft. Of course keep conditioning though. I definetly suggest trying.

First get a haircut to get rid of as much damage as possible then stop using herbal essences and start using a professional salon product, All Soft by Redken is one of my favorites

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .

get it trimmed and try going a day or two in between washes... i know this seems gross, but if you do this and brush the natural oils throughout your hair a couple times a day, it will help moisturize it.
also, try doing a deep conditioning treatment once a week if you can
hope this helps
