GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourishair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results

Don't listen to advice like shaving your head bald to make it grow thicker.
To keep a consistent rate of growth you have to trim your hair about 1/4 of an inch every 6-8 weeks, the reason being that this way you prevent that the tips of the hair breaks. You can also avoid putting dye or perms in your hair until you got the lenght you want to keep it healthy--healthy hair will not break as fast as stressed out hair.
There really is not too much we can do to make our hair grow faster or thicker. You have to be patient. Once you got it long enough you can add volume either by putting a perm for curls into your hair or by getting a particular hair style...Good Luck

Keep it trimmed on a regular basis... every 6 weeks or so. The cutting actually removes split ends, allowing the hair to grow faster.

Check your diet. Malnutrition may slow down the growth of your hair (though, if your diet is fine, that doesn't mean that a superabundance of these nutrients will speed up hair growth). Make sure protein levels are good- a good general rule regardless.
Alternatively, you coudl try artificial extensions, even a wig. Artificial hair and hairpieces have come a long way in the last twenty years.

You cannot make your hair grow any faster or thicker - it's impossible. And any product which claims to do this is lying!!! You can make it grow healthier though - eat lots of olive oil, nuts and seeds, then it will be less likely to break and split hence you won't have to have it cut so often!

I have long healthy hair. Everyone complements me on it all the time. I notices that when I was pregnant, that when I would take my prenatal pills, that my hair grew faster and healthier. That might be a suggestion.
