I like it all! A man should be able to wear any type of facial hair if it is suiting on him, like a hair cut. Once you find that style that fits your face, then go for it...it does not matter if is clean, styled, scruffy or just plain ol' rough looking. It is all about how it looks on you, like a suit...it takes that right one to give you your all best look.

Depends on the shape of your face. Clean shaven is best when it comes to being close.

Clean shaven, the hair is hard on my face. Plus it does not really look that good, unless you are not going anywhere special.

My preference is clean shaven. However on some men a neatly trimmed goatee looks good.

never scruffy- looks lazy
Ive had men that have
worn a beard- nice
with a mustache- nice
clean shaven- nice
if you can grow a respectable beard.. try that
or a mustache
and see what you like the best
ask friends/family for opinion- they don't lie

i think i speak for most girls when i say i don't want a hillbilly and that i like my beards clean shaven so i think that you should go for the clean shaven look.
