Over three weeks ago I got my hair blonde...Bleached pretty much by a professional. Underneath the hair dryer I felt horrible burning pain. The next night I was in the hospital. My scalp was covered in second degree burns. Has anyone else heard a case like this from getting bleached or stripped of color?
Three weeks later I am still have complications with my hair. Does anyone have any advice on actions I should take or what should be done. The hair saloon is claiming that I am allergic to their product. But I had my hair dyed there 3 times before without any complications. Plus I think from burns this severe I would have went into anaphalaytic shock. Please, I'll take any advice.

I have read many of the posted answers to similar questions. (Many good tips.) However, my concern is that my hair is slightly wavey and VERY thick. I DO NOT want to make my hair thicker. I just want to add length. Any suggestions?

Does it really cause that much more damage to your hair if you use blonde kits out of a box? Any tips to save my hair the damage if I end up doing it at home?
And around how much does it cost to get your hair blonde at a salon? My hair is a light to medium brown right now if that matters.
Thanks!

As opposed to just shaving it off. I am talking about any hair in general, not just on the head.

I have very thick, curly hair. When down it almost up to my shoulders. I dont know what to do with it. When i put it down it looks like an afro so i wear it up. It is very poofy. If i straighten it, what would be the best straightener to buy that works well, and fast? When i borrow a friends it takes about 1-1.5 hours. Also if i want to put it down how and what should i use? ( what kind of gel, spray, ect.) Thanks!!

I have wavy frizzy hair, I style most of it wavy but I flat iron my bangs (their natural curvy is just too funky). Lately my bangs have been breaking off about half way, leaving me with a LOT of fly-aways that have split ends. ****I am well aware of the fact that flat ironing my hair is bad for it and that this is what is causing the problem**** I use low heat and I already use a silk hair serum. I've cut back on using my iron, but I still do it occasionally. Is there a product I can use that will help my bangs regain strength? How about something that is meant to be used with heat?

Not that I would ever cut it all off, but everyone is telling me to cut it. I think it looks pretty good myself. I used to wear it in more of a Jamse Dean style & everyone says that it looked better that way. It's still reto in more of an exaggerated way. What do you think?
