My hairs just past my shoulders, but i have really short layers. I can manage to mess up the layers by backcombing but it just doesnt stay put, even with sh!t loads of hairspray and wax. any one got any tips? =] thankyooooo!x

When you get out of the shower, scrunch your hair with gel, let it dry and then blowdry it.

I used to do my hair like that, and what I did was either
1. take a shower at night and put mouse in my hair and let it air dry and go to bed. It was usually pretty messy in the morning, which I wanted, and then I gave it a heavy coat of hairspray.
2. or if my hair looked too greasy in the morning, take a shower, wash the hair, and blow dry it. Then, I would mix some salt and water in a spray bottle and spray it all over my hair, but just enough to make the hair slightly damp. Then when it air dried, it would be a little bit more wavy.
Teasing the hair at the roots gave in a messier look and gave my hair a lot more volume, but I guess it depends on the type of hair you've got.

Instead of a wax, try a styling/sculpting paste near the roots. You can get a chunky look by running a little bit through sections of your layers, too.

you could try to put a little amount of gel in your hair, and then move your head around on your pillow before you go to sleep.

if you wake up and you dont have a messy bed head then have a fight with your bed i mean put the blanket o you head and keep moving it back and forth against your head.(hard to explain)
then youll really get a messy bed head!!

mattress head works sturdy endless HAIRSPRAY - sturdy stuff now no longer the cheapo stuff or you're able to stay away from decrease back to the area you acquire it performed and requested what products they used. and how they did it! goodluck !

you should braid it than sleep on the pillow on one side then your hair starts to fly and stuff

go to bed with it wet, with gel on it...
Your hair might be too long...
