I have read many of the posted answers to similar questions. (Many good tips.) However, my concern is that my hair is slightly wavey and VERY thick. I DO NOT want to make my hair thicker. I just want to add length. Any suggestions?

wait for it. since u say ur hair is thick, i presume its healthy. so... it WILL grow very fast.

When you wash your hair in the shower, bend your head upside down. The blood rushes to the head, increases blood flow which nourishes follicles. Hair will go faster. I would suggest getting a cut every 6 weeks to keep the split ends at bay and that way both ends will be healthy.

Just give it time. Eventually the gravity of your thick hair will allow it to be less wavey and show its length

Wear it straight by blow drying and using a good straight iron it will seem longer. Also use shampoos with vitamins to make your hair stronger and use a deep moisturizer once a week.

an outstanding stylist ought to skinny your hair out. save the dimensions and function some layers put in it. With a high quality styling product and a straightening iron, i think of you would be very pleased with your hair.

okay well seriously this works cuz i have done it take a SMALL length off the end WHILE its full moon, the gravitational pull pulls it down and makes it grow faster. I am NOT joking just try it and see! :)
