Well, this coming summer, me and some friends are going to a convention. We have gone for several years, and each year, we always kid about bringing a camera and doing a documentary. This year, I am really bored, and feel like I know the convention well and need something to do.. soooo.. I was thinking of really doing a homemade documentary of it. I suppose I could sell it or post it online, but it's mainly for my own entertainment and for my friends to see. I am wondering, though, what is the cheapest and/or easiest camera/microphone/tape to use? I do not have a video camera, but do not want to dish out alot of cash. And I would idealy be recording almost 100 hours of footage. How do I contain all that? Is there any tips and hints for filming a homemade for personal use only film like this? is it too much an undertaking? etc.

If there is a picture on a website that you would like to print off, could you print it off and then blow it up? Would you need to print it off on picture paper or what is the correct way of doing it?

As an artist, I use a Polaroid 600 camera to take referance shots. The plastic lens simple camera just barely cuts it. I have a Yashica 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 double lens reflex camera that takes 120 film and a Graflex Nortia that takes the same. The format is almost the same size as Polaroid 600. I also have a couple of Nikon 35 mm's. Is there not an attachment that snaps onto the back, allowing me to take instant, high quality Polaroid 600 photos? Also, anyone know if they make Polaroid 600 film in Black and White?

'Experience is the best teacher' - I certainly believe that. I have taken some basic photography courses and have been interested in photography all of my life. I believe I'm actually pretty good! I really would like to have the chance to work with a professional portrait photographer though - even just for a couple of weeks or so - to see if I have what it takes. Is there anyone out there willing to take on an apprentice for awhile? In the Wisconsin or Northern Illinois area. I have actually e-mailed a few photographers but didn't even get replies.

I'm looking for a camera that can do low light shots that occour with the theatre, but I am trying to stay under a budget of $500 (and would rather only spend around $200, so I can have money for a monopod, extra memory, case, etc). I was wondering if there was anyone out there that had any good experience with cameras used in this manner. Any suggestions would be greatly apprechiated as I am looking at purchaseing it fairly soon.

It's not always possible to use a mini tripod or a tripod when shooting in low light conditions. How can you make sure your photo isn't blurry then, yet get the angle you want?

I am already using a Canon prosumer model (S3 IS) that has an anti-shake function, and shooting with the aperture at max (e.g. f-stop = 2.5) to ensure so that I don't have to use such a slow shutter speed.
