I'm looking to buy lighting equipment tht's not too expensive. Any Suggestions? Websites or store in SanDiego Area.

The obvious answer is ebay as it does sell a huge variety of used equipment at pretty reasonable pricing.
B&H Photo (www.bhphoto.com) also offers a used selection of photography equipment from lighting to cameras to backgrounds.
As far as lighting, I'd suggest a company called Photogenic (www.photogenicpro.com). Regularly priced, they are kinda expensive - however I love the control they give you and have used them for years

You can get some good photography equipment on eBay (backdrops, lights, etc.).
