Okay, I have taken and still plan to take photos with my 35mm SLR and I want to be able to keep high quality digital copies of them on my PC like I do with those taken from my digital camera. Anyone know how I can achieve this? Because so far, I am just disgusted with what I get off of the picture CD's created when my film is processed. Is it the film, or the processing of the film, or both? If so, what kind of film should I be buying for my SLR, a 35mm Canon Rebel Ti, and how should I get the film processed because Target sucks. I like Wolf Camera, are they any better? Or should I go with a more professional film processor?

I am making a business card and the photo that I have is 72 dpi and the company says that the pictures should be 300 dpi for best quality. I increased to 300 and the quality on my computer looks pretty bad. How can I be sure that these will print out okay?

here is what the website says...
Important Requirements:

1.The maximum graphic size that can be imported is 5 MB (5120 K).

2.We recommend the following graphic formats: .JPG, .TIF, .BMP.

3.You may upload black and white, grayscale and/or color images.

4.We suggest you make the image that you are importing the same size that you'll use on your design.

5.Low resolution images may print poorly especially when enlarged.
We recommend at least 300 dots per inch.

I have been reading in magazines that the higher the ISO, the worse the pictures come out in DIGITAL Cameras.

Also what does I.S.O. mean?

I have never successfully taken a picture in macro mode. Often the subject is too blur.

I don't know what is the suitable distance between the lense and the subject.

Could any one please give me a tutorial on this?

I'm a photography buff who has fought the digital camera purchase until I can buy a really nice camera. A friend of mine said that professional photographers update their equipment frequently, so I thought maybe there is a sight where I can purchse a prof photographer's old equipment. I already search on Ebay...any suggestions?

We are trying to win a quiz with the prizes going to a dog rescue centre. Does anyone know the title and artist of a black and white picture (photo) depicting a clear bottle with a cross sticking out of it, around which there appears to be what looks like ivy. It is sitting on a window ledge. Any ideas please?

I have decided to use a 5 MP setting as apposed to a 7 MP setting on my camera. However, the next thing to decide is do I save space by using "Fine" or is it really worth the extra space for "Superfine". If it helps, I am using a Canon Powershot A620.
