Are you getting married in SE MI and have you determined where you will have your wedding and reception? If so, you might ask both venues with whom they have had positive experiences.
Churches have guidelines for what is acceptable and banquet halls go out of their way to make everything work but without defaming bad crews could recommend good crews.
Also, if you do a google/yahoo search for websites for photogs in the SE MI area you should find urls with samples. You could try to match what you like with recommendations and or visit them to verify their results are at the standard you desire.
