A few years ago, my husband's office was movinginto a new space. The office that was moving left behind boxes of trash. Inside the trash was an old photo album, the photos were taken around the 1940's. The only clue as to who the owner could have been was one old picture with the ladies name and address in the back (she lived in Chicago)
How would I go about finding relatives so that I can return the album to her family? This lady would probably be in her 80's if she were still alive. I am in the process of writing to the current owners of the house. If that backfires, what would I do?
Thanks!!

lets say its a nice sunny day and I am using 100 speed film with my camera set to shutter priority and its set for 1/125th of a second. I'm taking a picture of a solid WHITE wall..dont ask me why..and the aperture reads f16. Now, If I go ahaed and snap the picture, I would like someone to explain to me, in pretty understandable terms as to whether the pic will turn out under or over exposed..and why?? I am missing a key understanding of this concept and my pictures are sufffering because of it.

Thanks

When I say enlarging photos, I mean like blowing up a picture to bigger than usual like 48''x36''. Is it better to go with a smaller film speed for that? and why?

I remember thinking I'd loads of pictures, and they were all of me in a pub..so I stopped taking pictures. And now I'm trying to sort pictures out, to load them onto my pc, and there are so many events with no photos, people I met on holiday, and all I have is a memory.

I read that 'professional' cameras have expanded features like lens length and light meter sensitivity than 'semi-professional.' What results can you get with a 'professional' camera you can't get with a 'semi-professional.' and can a good photographer compensate with skills and creativity and use the semi-professional model with results as good as a 'professional' camera?

Let's say I'm using it to take sport pictures, (I don't really need it that fast). But I don't want to wait 5 seconds after I press the button for it to take the picture. How can I tell how fast a camera will take a picture and what should I look for?

I've seen photographers that can take a photo, make it black and white, and then take an item and make that part colored while the rest of the photo stays black and white. (example: black and white photo of a person with only their eyes colored.) I have some photos that I have taken with my digital camera that I think would look really great if I could do this. Does anyone know of what kindof software I could get to do this with my photos. I have Adobe photoshop and I thought that I might be able to do it with that, but I can't find a way on there to do it. Any help/advice that anyone could give me would be most appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
