Was Zac Efron famous before he did High school musical?
I want to be an actor but I havent done professional acting before. I would like to star in my own tv series.
Also was Miley Cyrus an actress before she did Hannah Montana?
I know her dad was famous but can you be a sucessful actor without prior work?

Also do I need to join a union like "SAG" or something to get work and can you get a good agent without professional experience?

My question is how do you know if you are something special and stand out from the rest of the actors after the same thing?

What face do you need? (an ordinary pretty face...)what body?( thin and muscular...) what personality?(girly, diva..)

AND How do you know if YOU have TALENT??

it gives you lots of money
it gives you lots of respect from people
usually a career offering lots of money and respect from people would require you to take time away from fun and entertainment and do some hard work but in acting you are right in the center of the world of fun and entertainment all the time.

I think I really want to go to AMDA. it is only two years (and i hate school). I know i am not ready to just start auditioning and i would LOVE to study theater, but don't know where. I have heard mixed reviews about AMDA and need to know: is it fun and you learn enough to have it worth paying tons of $ for? Thanks

When I was about 8 years old I told my mom that I want to be an actress and she told me ''no'', she wants me to be a docter or a nurse and some othere jobs like that when I am older.So I just followed what she said and think about what I wanted to be when I grow up besides and actress.Now I am 15 years old and I still have the dream to become an actress, but I don't know how to tell my mom.

is the job of a director really necessary if he/she has no control of the direction of any production? the writers have all the control, so aren't millions of dollars wasted on paying directors?
