I am planning a trip to New York in December, 2008. Do you think the Lion King will still be running?

I think so. I think it'll last a lot longer. It's still selling tickets like crazy, ten years into it's run. It's still a pretty hot show to see. And when shows close, they usually try to anounce it at least a few weeks, if not months, early. Not always I guess, but I'm pretty sure they usually do. So you'll know ahead of time if The Lion King is going to close. But it won't for a while so don't worry about it.

I would think so, in less Disney, ro or somebody else plays to bring a play to broadway, and there aren't just enough theatres to do so, without a production, no matter how well in sales will close. It has been on Broadway for 10 years, and I don't think anything will change it to leave soon. But I hope, and I bet that you will enjoy the play.

It will most likely be running for a long time. It still makes a lot of money each week.
