They told me that she needs to get professional pictures taken of her. I was under the assumption, that under age 5 children do not need professional pictures. The agent said that the photographers work exclusively through them...even if I find one in my area, I should send the website to the agent so they can talk with them. Does this mean that I have to pay for the professional pictures? I asked in an email and the agent did not reply to that question, only said that they work exclusively through the agency. So I am confused..any and all information would be very helpful. I don't want to get stuck in a scam...and don't have too much money to put into this.

I am not new to acting, but I am new to huge auditions. This show that I am in, is more of a display of talent. For both modeling and acting, I have confidence, but not enough, especially if this show is coming up soon.
I do not have a scene yet, and the requirements are no longer than 30 seconds!
HELP!

Hey,

I'm auditioning for Seussical the Musical and I was wondering what part you think would suit me best out of Gertrude, Mayzie La Bird and Mrs Mayor? Which character do you think is coolest to play?

I am female obviously, a teenager (our school is putting it on so age isnt an issue) and an alto. I can't sing very high but I can belt out some of the high-ish notes (as long as its not too high!) I can also dance and act reasonably well.

Thanx!

I'm auditioning for Aida as well as a scholarship. I'm normally a Soprano, but that's in choir. In order to use my musical theatre voice, I have to be in chest voice. (I havent' figured out how to use my musical theatre voice in my head voice. If anyone has an answer to that...that would be much appreciated as well) So if anyone knows any good belting Alto songs, or mezzo-soprano songs, please do let me know! Thank you.

At my singing lesson tonight, my voice teacher determined that I may have the beginning stages of damage to my vocal chords. This would make sense since I had been pushing my voice in the past week, but I'm glad he was able to catch it early in the first few days of possible damage.

His advice was to just be cautious and not push my voice, that whatever possible damage that may have been done to my voice (if there is any at all) would simply heal itself if I was just careful not to push myself. He told me to warm up my voice in the morning before I even speak, something I already do.

For some reason, I'm really not satisfied with that answer. I take pride in my voice and don't want it damaged, so is there anything else I can do, possible vocal exercises, drinking tea, anything else? Going on complete vocal rest is out of the question since I have a very big audition in a few weeks and need the practice. Although I will try and be cautious, is there anything more I can do?

1. Les Miserables is still on Broadway, right? So WHY is everyone saying that their high school did it as a production? How did they get the legal rights to do so?

2. Can you give me a complete list of characters in Les Mis? Not just the main ones, like Javert and Cosette and Marius, but (if there are any) side characters, as well?

3. What's your favorite song/character from Les Mis?
