Hello all,

I am currently in an acting class. I have a project that is due on Wed. I need to bring in a really really hard activity/task for someone to do.
These are things I have done already:

Crochet
Tired to make a beat on the computer
Tried to teach myself the foxtrot
Tried to get song lyrics of a reggae song
Tried to make a banner for a baby shower ( I cannot draw or paint)
Tired to teach myself another language
Tried to put together a ripped up picture
Origami

I have done some others I cant recall now. I am out of ideas! Can anyone help?!?! It would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

it's about a germaphobe family and their son (who isn't a germaphobe) invites a family over for dinner. When they come over, the family makes fools of themselves because they keep freaking out over germs and such. Eventually the invited family is driven away. Eventually the mom gets deathly ill from the common cold because she didn't have immunity to it. Any title ideas??

I'm considering a monologue from the play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, by Edward Albee.
I can't seem to find the whole play anywhere, and I'm short on time- can anyone provide me insight to Martha's character? I know the basics, I'd just like to know of any oddities or physical characteristics that you've seen on her character in various interpretations.

I’m 19, living in Sydney; Australia. I just finished high school last year, and I’m taking a break year from school. I applied for University and Tafe (Australian professional study to gain skills for employment). Now being nearly November I will start studying in February (If I don’t get accepted into Uni I’ll be going to Tafe which u automatically get accepted when you apply). I want to be a professional Actor but am trying to establish a back up career in case my acting career doesn't work out. But my main passion in life is acting. I've saved $9000 for plastic surgery; rhinoplasty (nose job) that I believe will assist my acting career. I've been told to wait until i'm 20 for safety reasons (apparently your face doesn't stop changing until your 20). So what should I do in the next 3 months? Get the surgery? Start acting? Get a full time summer job and save more money? Or just relax and get ready to study? And what else should I do in the following year? Any advice would help.

Looking for someone with experience writing a screenplay. I have worked on Wall Street for over 20 years, and have great stories to tell. I have been told many times to write it down but do not have the talent for it. Anyone that can help or provide tips?

My local community theater is putting on "Mulan". I'd love to play the title character, and I understand that it will require a lot of dedication. But I think I can manage. The audition requirements are an up-tempo song (with accompaniment), a one-minute monologue, and come prepared to dance. I need some monologue and song reccommendations. Also, when they same "come prepared to dance", are they asking me to bring specific dance shoes? Or does it just mean to dress in a comfortable manner? All help appreciated!

P.S. My voice is alto, but I'm working on getting a mezzo or soprano. My range is basically the middle of the average piano, although I'm getting higher...the audition is in March, so I have PLENTY of time.
P.P.S. Do you have any other audition advice? I've performed with this theater before, but I believe it is being directed by someone new, with whom I have never worked with.
P.P.P.S. I'm not Chinese. Will that affect my chance in getting the part? There are never any Asians.

My boyfriend bought us tickets to see Macbeth (featuring Patrick Stewart) in London for this Wednesday. When he purchased the tickets, he arranged to pick them up at Will Call. Unfortunately he had an emergency to attend to outside of this country. He left me his credit card so I can pick up the tickets. Is this all I need or will they ask for ID, a pin #, anything else?
Thanks!

Please be extremely specific... I really like to act. I've been taking acting classes continuously, plus I take acting as a course at school and I'm in the school play. I want to apply to an agency, but I don't have much experience. I've been in 6 school plays and 2 school films. Do you think agencies will hire a complete noob? Also I took an acting course over the summer. Do you think agencies will consider me even if I don't have much experience?

I'm a little confused on this because I've been getting lots of different answers. I'm wondering-- is it a bad to audition for a musical with a song from that same musical?
The musical in question is an amateur production of the Sound of Music. One of my potential audition songs is "Sixteen Going on Seventeen". My voice teacher as well as another yahoo member mentioned that it was fine to use it.

If you have any other audition songs that I could use, please include them-- I'm 13 and going for one of the children. Thanks!
