Can you explain more what this is for? It's really hard to tell from your question therefore hard to give advice.

Ten Things I Hate About You

written by Karen McCullah Lutz & Kirsten Smith; adapted from the play by William Shakespeare

Kat: I hate the way you talk to me. And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare I hate your big dumb combat boots. And the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick-- it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh -- even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didnt call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - - not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

anguish: scene: emergency room. You rush in with a limp figure in your arms, screaming, "Somebody help me!" (hand it off to orderly) "He just ran out in front of my car." (speech becomes harder) "I...I never saw...he was just suddenly there...And I...." (collapse into a heap as the severity of it hits you...use your own words as you try to make sense of the situation you cannot control.

delight: scene: front porch, door closed. You've just kissed her goodnight and you're falling in love. Turn away form door and toward audience and put into words the delight blooming in your heart. "SHE KISSED ME! Oh what...there aren't words. Could it be? after all these years? I'm falling in love...?"

thirty seconds isn't much time, so go for intense situations and use expressive language carefully. Break a leg!
