I'm considering a monologue from the play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, by Edward Albee.
I can't seem to find the whole play anywhere, and I'm short on time- can anyone provide me insight to Martha's character? I know the basics, I'd just like to know of any oddities or physical characteristics that you've seen on her character in various interpretations.

I would advise against doing a monologue from that play. It's soooo associated with Elizabeth Taylor, and that's who you're going to be compared to when you do it. Can you act it better than she can? If not, I would find something else.

It is a great play and a great character however and would be great to do for a workshop or a class.
