My high school is doing auditions for the musical Hairspray, and I am aiming for the part of Corny Collins.
What song does Corny Collins sing other than "Nice Kids in Town" in the musical?

He also sings "It's Hairspray" but "Nicest Kids in Town" is the most popular for his character.

Since you normally do not sing from the show you are auditioning for and Hairspray is the only musical Marc Shaiman worked on that I know of, I would suggest:
Beauty School Dropout - Grease (maybe too slow, but good image)
Those Magic Changes - Grease (good song, not the right image?)
Mooning - Grease (ditto)
Uptown Girl - Movin Out (maybe)
That Face - The Producers

He sings "It's Hairspray" but you shouldn't sing a song from the play you are auditioning for unless they ask.
