Who is Lory in Alice in Wonderland?

I just got cast as her and I am not sure who she is. Is she a decent character?

There is a Lory in the Prince Street Players version, but I honestly don't remember what the role is, sorry.

The only other human in "Alice In Wonderland" as far as I can remember was her sister. She was reading Alice a story about a white rabbit when she fell asleep and had her dream. I suppose that her name may have been Lory.
