I know it may seem a silly question, but there are acting schools and there are... acting schools. I'm curious in knowing how going to one has helped you (or not) personally and profesionally... Was it satisfying on a personal or on a professional level?... Was it satisfying at all?

When i go to the theater for the preformance of "Jungle book:the musical"? Im a part of the cast. Im messua and indain woman/mowglies mother.''

This totally different from my dance recital.

Im clueless.

Over two months ago, I sent out my daughter's headshots and resumes to acting agencies/managers. I never heard back from any of them.
Is there anything that I can do to "spark" agents interests? Or even just get called in for an interview?
Or, should I just send out their headshots and resumes to more agencies and pray that something happens?
Thank you very much..
PS-Is there any place where I can find auditions for my girls (a sophmore and an 8th grader) without an agent/manager?

Ok, I am a 16 year old guy and I have done alot of theatre. I love theatre but I want to get into TV and movie acting. Were is a good place to go? What should I do? How should I present myself? Any advice will be greatly appriciated.

I am going to see Spring Awakening in the middle of July and know that if you are at the Box Office at 10am they sell $26.00 tickets to students. Has anyone done this and do you usually get tickets and are they good seats. But I will take any seat I really want to know do most people there get tickets and do you need to stand in a line to get them what time should I get there because I really want to go.

I plan to get tickets for Wicked the musical. However, there is a fairly high convenience charge PER ticket when I try to order from ticketmaster.com. It is $9.25 per ticket, which I'd really rather not pay considering the high price of the tickets already. I'm simply a college student working part time. I will be watching this in Boston, MA. Does anyone know how I can order tickets without the convenience charge?

There is also a building facility charge or $2.50 per ticket. Is that avoidable as well?

Also, is there any way I can still get tickets for good seats? I stupidly did not know that tickets would get sold so fast because I've never been to a musical since elementary school.

I just checked all of the weekends, and some are completely sold out while others are only left with limited view seats.. I'm almost desparate enough to pay the convenience charge. Is the limited view really bad?

Sorry for so many questions in one post.

Hi there! I'm 16 and want to get into theatre, hopefully one day Broadway. I keep getting told there's no way, but still, I can hope, right? Point is, I need an agent, and I have no IDEA where to start or where to look for any information on how to start, so I turned to you guys. The thing is, I'm learning ballet right now (7 classes a week to get to where I need to be..) I've sung in the local opera company for a year or so, but I really want to do some serious acting/dancing/singing etc.

Hi, I am currently attending the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood. 7 of us are finishing up the 2 year program, which means this summer, we put up a full length play that will demonstrate our talent. Our group consists of 5 women and 2 men, so we ideally need to find a play with these 7 roles asap. We could probably add one more guy if need be, but no more women. Another thing is that the roles need to be atleast somewhat equal in terms of lines, and the play can either be a good comedy or drama. Preferrably a modern one. So if anybody out there can help, we'd be sooo greatful. Thank you very much in advance.

since i was a kid i always wanted to act on disney channel. now i turned 14 and i started to work on it but i found that it is very hard for me because i'm in lebanon and there is no agents to help me on it and disney insist to have an agent
