Is there any way to make 'Defying Gravity' as a solo?

It's okay if it's not, I'll just sing wiht my friend.

Absolutely. Like the others said, it is arranged that way in the book, or you can buy it online at musicnotes.com. The selection will cost about $4.95 or so for you to print it out yourself, but you can transpose it if you need to and they have a feature where you can play the music on their site as well. They also send new customers a coupon (or they used to, so don't quote me on that!) for $4.00 off your next purchase so your next song will be almost free. Some songs are cheaper so it may even be free!

yes, if you buy the sheet music on musicnotes.com it is arranged as a solo. I personally like the solo version better.

when you look at the lyrics, they are easy to be sung as a solo

elphaba is the big singer in this song
so
you could either sing everything or just cut out the glinda parts!

whatever you want it will work

Idina Menzel has redone the song as a solo. You can listen to it and download it to. It's one of my favorites!
