I am going to see Spring Awakening in the middle of July and know that if you are at the Box Office at 10am they sell $26.00 tickets to students. Has anyone done this and do you usually get tickets and are they good seats. But I will take any seat I really want to know do most people there get tickets and do you need to stand in a line to get them what time should I get there because I really want to go.

If you go REALLY REALLY early, you can get onstage seating and/or front row. However, I went at about 10 and got student rush for the mezzanine. Three rows from the back and I could see everything perfectly.

There's no lotto for this show.

Check broadwayworld.com and search for "Spring Awakening rush".

Say hello to John Gallagher Jr. for me...and enjoy the show.

Rush seating is the first two rows, in other words, VERY GOOD seats.

You will not always get tickets, because SA is a hot, popular new musical.

I went before the TONY win, and had to get there 4 hrs. early. And got the second to last pair of tickets.

Since this is post-Tony's, you can expect more people, less of a chance of getting tickets, and having to wait a LOT longer.

I'd say scope it out the day before so you can get an estimate.

Remember, more people would be there on weekends.

And also, it costs like $31.7-something, to have ON STAGE seats. Also a great price, and seat, you just have to buy in advance.

Have Fun!

It was a lot easier to get those tickets before the show got popular. You may want to get on the line earlier than 10 since it's the summer.

I believe one of my friends got a student rush ticket for the stage...that may have been the lottery though.

Good Luck

That is only for certain shows, I haven't heard that about SA, especially now that it has won the Tony. I suggest trying the TKTS booth in Times Sq. You might get lucky.
