I am a director of children's theater. I am looking for ideas for a show for this coming year. Anyone have any play idea's that the children can be in? Or does anyone know where to get scripts? I am not looking for musicals, and definately no more than 3 set changes. I would prefer only one simple set, but I am open for suggestons. Thanks!

I'm looking to rent out some studio property for music production. Nothing too big or spectacular. I just need some space to compose and possibly be able to record some vocals here and there. I currently have a home based Midi production studio however i have way too many people in my house to allow myself to focus. If anyone knows of any possible places i can look. Can you please hit me back and let me know.
Thanks

In school, we've been studying the acclaimed works of Shakespeare, including Romeo and Juliet. Well, as the enigma they encountered as to how to marry the young (infatious?) couple, Friar Lawrence concocted a plot to marry them secretly. However, his plan involved both of the young lovers to fake their own deaths. I fail to see what good Friar Lawrence expected to come from such a plot. Anyone out there that knows?

it is to be read in front of a group of Germans, trying to practice their English. Not only we are not amateurs, but acting is not one of our hobbies. this is just to help the group listen and understand better the language. Thank you.

Does anyone know of any scenes in plays and musicals that have tickling in them? If so what were they, what happened, and when you saw it was it real or fake?

My 11 year old loves acting dancing and singing. When he is on stage for anything he is so confident and laps it up.

He really wants to go into acting, but I haven't got a clue of where to start. I have done a search on www but it seems to be firms just wanting to take money and nothing else.

we are on a limited budget living in the west midlands.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

This is important to my son so anyone taking the micky will be reported for abuse

I want to audition in the school play as Hero, but to do so I have to act out Beatrice's monologue (or whatever) at the end of Act 3 scene 1. I have searched the internet for videos of Emma Thompson but found none from that scene... Is there any hints or tips or prehaps another school production in which someone had to do that part?
thanks

In school, we are having a contest for movies. Students can write, direct, or act in a movie with their peers. The only problem is, I don't know how to set up a movie script. Like, how do you set up what the characters are saying? Could you also recommend any websites or books on script writing?

Hi everyone. I just finished working on my first play. I got the leading role in it, even though I have no experience. The director was awesome, and he taught me more about acting in the three months we've been working together than my college professor has in the year and a half I've been training under her. The supporting actors were very sweet and we've all become pretty close. It felt like I was making new friends.

But they all live in a certain area and I live miles away. Now that the show is done, I probably won't ever see any of them again. It saddens me. I would give anything to do the show once more. I feel like a junkie or something. I just can't believe it's really over. Is this kind of thing normal? And if so, how does one deal with the grief and feeling of loss?
