I love to watch modren theatre i hate working on it.

I think that theatre, whether it be modern or not is a wonderful art form. Now I love all plays, and it just depends on the play, not the genre, or era of the production. I love anything from Shakespeare to The Vagina Monologues, as long as it has a good script, good actors, good direction. Although I do agree that it is becoming more in danger of survival when up against movies and TV

I think that a lot of people like to believe they're saying something insightful by claiming that theatre is in decline. Sorry, folks, it isn't true.
It doesn't matter how many other forms of entertainment are out there. The experience of attending a live theatrical event is irreplaceable, and is something that people will ALWAYS seek out, no matter what movies or television or podcasts, etc., are up to.
There are still brilliant and essential writers devoting their best efforts to the legitimate stage. That's how it is, and how it has always been.

Well, what do you mean by modern theater? Like, I'd consider Death of a Salesman modern. I agree with the guy above, though, it's becoming less popular with TV and other pop-culture media.

It rocks. I am a actor in theater and a director. It is so much fun when i get to direct, I don't get to do it alot but when i was in High School Musical I got to direct the whole school, If that counts. I love being Me.
