i need to find a short, about 1hr play (not a one-act) for two women for a school production. has anyone ever seen, heard, or performed in a play with only two women that is not full-length, and do you have any suggestions? anything would be of great help, thanks alot!

"Parallel Lives".... I don't know much about it but I am pretty sure it only has two woman in it that play a whole bunch of people... it would take two really good actresses!

Hi,

Yes, there is a great play called "Rock of All Ages". Not sure who wrote it. It is based on the seven ages of man that was written in a Shakespeare play (not sure which one). It goes through being a child, teenager, old person and the women swap roles effortlessly. It's a lovely play for two competent actress'

There is a wonderful (and difficult) play called Imagining Brad by Peter Hedges (who wrote the novel and film What's Eating Gilbert Grape). Imagining Brad might not be considered suitable for High School but it is well worth tackling.

I don't know if it's short, but the play/ movie 'Night mother has only 2 women. It's very sad though.
