Whenever me and my friends smoke they all get chill and watch w/evers on nickolodeon, but sometimes when im high i get the urge to pray

weird, anyone ever get this?

i mean im kinda skeptical about the existence of god (not cause i think my life sucks and noone cares about me) but from a psycolgical stnadpoitn, like who says that if you live abad life something bad happens to you when you die, noone knows for sure so im gonna live my life and see what happens when you die

its frustrating talking w/ die hard christians b/c there so sure that all the times theve tried to do god have been so they can go to heaven, but i mean you have no profof that god exists or religion is right, same as i have my opinions

iunno this started out as a weed quesion but what r your spiritual beliefs?

or your loveable childhood dog as an immortal creautre, which would you choose, and why? This starts with the implied assumption that the god of the old testament would eventually die, if you choose your dog, but isalive right now.

I'm noticing a fusion taking place between Judaism and Buddhism, neither of which are as supernatural as Christianity or Islam.

Is there any chance of redemptive grace or sincere repentance, or is it once a murderer always a murderer? What about rapists or child molesters? Serial killers?

Intelligence changes in definition from person to person. Our life experiences shape how we think and define things. Furthermore, it also depends on the context. For instance, some of the things we do in our culture is considered stupid by someone who grew up in a different culture. How can I not be hurt when someone thinks that I am stupid. That one person I care about. They appear to be intelligent because they have more knowledge than me, meaning a more powerful memory. i don't have a great memory, but I can always work on it. How else can I defend myself? To me, intelligence is using what natural abilities you have in a useful, creative way. Intelligence is when you can make a person go WOW!!! Intelligence is hard work and using words to make people stop and question themselves and society.

from all points of view, what is the difference between the three and similar terms in relationships of all types? What are ways of convincing oneself that a relationship is/was based on one and not the other?

so lets pretend there are 300 major events over the course of one's life that define who they are. these events can be great, and/or horrible. these events can include things such as: getting hit by a car, winning the lottery, being an aspiring actress and randomly meeting a top producer, meeting a great boyfriend, getting an easier test than someone else in school, getting struck by lightning, winning a new car, loosing your house to a fire, being in the way of a boulder falling down the hill, etc, etc. now...like i said earlier, lets just say there are a few hundred of these in everyones life. my theory to why people seem luckier than others is because statistically they have been. if there are 6 BILLION people in the world, think about how many people got 300/300 great events. some may have gotten 290/300 events go their way. these people are far and few because the average person had around half these go there way. some who've had horrible lives had very few good events. thoughts?

I'm one of those people who are always trying to love the reasonable thing, and construct a thousand arguments in their favour in my head.
And then some object of ooold desires comes along, and all that reasonable crap loses its meaning.

Like, I truly believe my little Mitsubishi is the best possible car for me. But right now, there is a beautiful 1971 Pontiac Trans Am parked in the neighbour's driveway, and man, does it ever do things to my emotions.

And I don't care it's a V8 and consumes five times as much as my car. I want one.

Would I be happier if I gave in?
