Intelligence changes in definition from person to person. Our life experiences shape how we think and define things. Furthermore, it also depends on the context. For instance, some of the things we do in our culture is considered stupid by someone who grew up in a different culture. How can I not be hurt when someone thinks that I am stupid. That one person I care about. They appear to be intelligent because they have more knowledge than me, meaning a more powerful memory. i don't have a great memory, but I can always work on it. How else can I defend myself? To me, intelligence is using what natural abilities you have in a useful, creative way. Intelligence is when you can make a person go WOW!!! Intelligence is hard work and using words to make people stop and question themselves and society.

My boss thought that I was very unintelligent. In that specific situation I was because I was too AFRAID to speak my mind. Confidence!!!

Don't bother. How can you possibly change a person's fantasy? Every person you interact with is only interacting with their own imagined memory of you as they have no way of being you and experiencing the world around you from within your body. They are also using past references of people that remind them of you and situations that the 'reference you' was in with them. You have absolutely no control of what these references are and how they are now using them to gage what you are to them.
They are really only interacting with the fantasy of you so why bother? There isn't any way to argue something that must be experienced over time.

Having read your narration with the question, I am surprised that any one in the world can call you a stupid. Your thinking is very clear, the sentences are beautifully composed and there is neither grammatical nor typing/spelling error.I suggest you to totally ignore all remarks questioning your intelligence.

You lack nothing in intelligence; your only problem seems to be a lack of ability to communicate effectively. People can say or think anything; when you have more self confidence what they think or say will mean less and less because you arecomfortable within yourself.
