Do you see foundations as a necessary thing in life, because that support who you are and what you do? Do you feel that you need to be grounded into the earth before letting loose on "experiments" that might go bad?

Or do you see foundations as a bad thing, that because they ground you into the earth you have no free will that can be desirable to things that the foundation won't support?

Also, if your foundation is a person in your life, does that mean if that person ever left you, you could never stand back up, because you've lost the foundation upon which you had been standing?

Where shall I go? One place is as good as another, more or less. I have no home, anymore. There's nowhere I "should" be.

Where would YOU go?

For me it's people that get in the express lane with more than 15 items and then write a check, having my favorite tv show interrupted with 'breaking news', loud tv commercials, packages that are hard to open, roaches, waiting for a stopped school bus, a police car behind me, undisciplined kids in a store, kids with runny noses and getting home with your 'drive thru' meal and they forgot the damn fries.

Please explain as concisely and coherently as you can the difference between point and range of solutions. (((hint: Analogies or illustration by example may be useful or necessary.)))

This is an ethics Q. Actually it is a metaethics Q! And yes, I have a position on the issue, but I want to know your opinion, your thinking, on the topic of what exactly is a "solution." This is doing real philosophy!

noise? What if we left a tape recorder? Would that make a difference? What if a seismic detector picked it up a great distance away? Why are we supposed to be baffled by this question?
