Maybe it would be better to accept your failure and then learn not to fail.
Conquer indicates internal struggle which can be damaging.

Edit:
Okay. You cannot conquer failure. All your failures, so to speak, still exist. But, now you have a success.

I am inclined to believe that things we consider to be failures are really successes as they at least succeed in making us aware that what we did was not the correct way to go about what we were going about. All the steps involved in arriving at a success are part of that success. :)

[edit] Seriously, The statement is just a clever way to say nothing. Conquering a failure is to learn from, and rectify the failure. A warrior strives to conquer the 'self', in order to conquer life.
