Where shall I go? One place is as good as another, more or less. I have no home, anymore. There's nowhere I "should" be.

Where would YOU go?

I would love to go to Europe. I've only been out of the US to Mexico and Canada.

I've been reading tour guides of Europe for over 45 years. I started reading them when "Europe on $5 a Day" was a popular guide AND actually possible. I think I could find my way around London and Paris from what I've absorbed from the travel guides over the years:-)

I've been ill a lot in recent years and I've used travel books as an escape. I've vicariously traveled all over the world :-) I've taken trains across Indian and Europe. I've sailed around the world, visiting many Pacific islands. I've traveled by "chicken bus" from Mexico to Argentina... all while staying at home. I appreciate those writers, but wish I were well enough to actually do some of the traveling myself :-)

I just asked a performer this question that travels all over the world never in one place at any given time completely on the move so stressful living out of suitcases but I said I guess where ever you happen to be performing that is where your home and your heart is.....................

When you say you have no home anymore what do you mean???Was your home destroyed ??Taken away abandoned etc....I think that I have a strong connection to NY CITY even though I can go away and have a ball I always have to get back to the big Apple that is my home .....unless I truly love another and he wanted me to move with him I would leave if he truly loved me and I him.....

Home can be anywhere its where your heart is....ultimately in the end I hope you find it....

Where Could I Go but to the Lord

Words & Music: J. B. Coats

Living below in this old sinful world
Hardly a comfort can afford
Striving alone to face temptations call
Where could I go to the Lord

Where could I go where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go to the Lord

Neighbors are fun I love em everyone
We get along in sweet accord
But when I pass the chilling hand of death
Where could I go to the Lord

Where could I go where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go to the Lord

Life here is grand with friends I love so well
Comfort I get from God's own Word
But when my soul needs manna from above
Where could I go to the Lord

Where could I go where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go to the Lord

Where could I go where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go to the Lord
Where could I go to the Lord

i would live very close to the beach , preferably the Gulf of Mexico, because i like the beach, you should think of what you like, big or small cities, beach or mountains, snow or warmer weather, etc etc, then figure out what you can afford, there are ways to live less expensively but still nice in any of the choices you might make,
best of luck

I'd go to my little hacienda in Mexico....light a nice fire,
make a big drink, sit back and watch the sunset over the fields, flowers, and horses.

go the lord in prayer and try to seek his guidance of what is the best for you to do.........i felt that way when i lost my mom and dad......and i am not that close to my sons...and i live alone.......the thing is you have to be able to take care of yourself and make a home........but when times were the worst for me i remembered the song where could i go but to the lord..........i hope this helps......i if you are homeless there is shelters that can help you ......i do not know where you live or are at now but you have to try and make your own life..........do things you like , get a job, have a purpose....and seek the lord.........

anywhere my feet would take me, stopping to smell the roses, talk to the old people, and play with the children and doggies along the way. If you have no home, you have no stuff to worry about, no bills to pay, and that's total freedom! enjoy!

would first start off by going to sunset blvd, LA.... that's where the elliott smith memorial wall is... that man helped me out through many things, I'd like to give him something there...

then, I think i'd go to europe and travel everywhere... just me and my guitar :) not another care in the world... just keep going until my heart stops...
