Okay, I don't know if this counts, but I will tell you a story.

Two days ago I was talking with this guy I know. We will call him "Notsobright" for the purposes of my story. Notsobright was talking to me about a girl. This is what he said...

"As soon as she steps her foot on the floor, I will leave."

It took me some time to arrive at the fact that what he meant to say was...

"As soon as she is back on her feet, I will leave."

I was amused.
