That trust is fleeting and respect should never be given, only earned. This I learnt the hard way through school.

The lesson I 've learned hard is that most people don't care about others. But when you do, that Karma follows you. You can't lie,cheat, or otherwise, but you see someone who violates every rule and gets away with it, it's hard. I will never understand, but there seems to be a spirituality behind this rule.

.the hardest lesson for me was learning to deal with lose if someone very close and dear ....and that those beloved around you can not be there tomorrow anymore so you better love and appreciate them while you can..grief is a hard teacher but i guess it is something we all must learn to cope with.

to keep my eyes open, dont ever think that you know what someone else is thinking, what their motivations/thoughts are, remain in the middle until you have proof, some will try to screw you over, but some will be fair and honest and even go out of their way to be helpful

That not everyone is going to like you. Some people just don't like you and some people really like you, and that you shouldn't change yourself to fit other people's standards.
