If your parents allowed you to do anything you ever wanted, without getting in trouble, do you think you would thank them, or regret all the freedom later?

Is it an accumulation of individual subjective realities or is there some kind of underlying objective world out there? If there is this underlying objective foundation can we ever see it, feel it, or know it? If all we have are our senses to guide us "or someone else's senses" then how can anyone really know what's real, I mean, what's really real?

There's a bit of a debate raging at my work about whether the phrase "Sure as Eggs is Eggs" can accurately be used to indicate a 100% degree of certainty in relation to any given statement. For example if you asked me "is the Pope catholic?" and i'd reply "sure as eggs is eggs" meaning of course he is. My opponent in this debate would say that statement is being used inappropriately as eggs cannot always be said to be eggs. For example when used to bake a cake, they become part of the cake and are in fact no longer eggs. Or is an egg still an egg when it's not in the shell. A spurious arguement in my opinion

Who's right and why?

I don't think itis merely having plenty of everything, or being super-rich. I think it is those kinds of things, and having lots to share, or having riches and being able to use them fully and wisely. I also think that abundance is having, and being in the best-possible circumstances for yourself at a certain time.

But what do YOU think?

My boyfriend was murdered in march and the only reason I was able to keep it together is because I kept telling myself that he was always with me and he could see me and stuff, but then my uncle who is a minister told me that thats not true that can't see you or hear you or anything. I don't want to believe that though. Any opinions?
